Nonprofit Resources

The Story County Community Foundation recognizes the nonprofit sector's critical role in helping to build an active and thriving community. Nonprofit organizations provide leadership through the programs and services that they offer, while contributing as a driving economic force in our communities.

Below is a list of services and resources that we offer to nonprofit organizations.

Trainings and Workshops for Nonprofit Staff, Board, and Volunteers

We are proud to offer free professional development opportunities to help nonprofit organizations enhance the leadership, governance, management and skills of their staff, board members, and volunteers. Review our upcoming schedule to hold the dates on your calendar.

Nonprofit Grants

The Story County Community Foundation (SCCF) allocates resources to significantly improve or affect the lives of people living in Story County communities. SCCF offers three different competitive grant programs - our Major Grant, Community Grants, and Capacity Building Grants. Applicants should speak to our funding guidelines and Community Betterment Objectives. Visit our grants page to learn more

Nonprofit Endowments

The Story County Community Foundation partners with nonprofit organizations to set up agency funds as an opportunity to establish a long tern endowment fund. This is a great way for your donors to support your organization's needs both today and into the future.  Learn more here.
