Legacy Gifts

If you want to be remembered, do something memorable.
Be remembered for your kindness.

"Story County is the place where we spent a significant part of our lives, raised our families, pursued business careers and developed lasting friendships. The Story County Community Foundation provides a way to give back to the community which has been so important in shaping our lives. Whether you think of yourself as rich or poor or somewhere in between, your gift to your community will make a lasting impression."

A Gift That Keeps On Giving

Story County Community Foundation can help you make a difference in Story County through a gift that will keep on giving long after your own life. SCCF can help you make a "forever" gift to your community in which you have worked and raised your family. Through a legacy gift you will be part of Story County...forever.

Please refer to the Legacy Gift Resource pages (link to the left) for more details about Legacy giving options.

The Legacy Society

A legacy gift provides support to a charitable cause beyond the lifetime of the donor. The Legacy Society of the Story County Community Foundation  recognizes those caring individuals who have created a legacy for our community through establishment of a permanent fund at SCCF or who have created an estate plan provision benefiting SCCF or one of its funds (will, trust, insurance policy, retirement plan, charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust, etc.).  Honorary membership in SCCF's Legacy Society is our way of expressing our deep gratitude for your personal commitment to creating a brighter future for the citizens of Story County.

Legacy Society members share a dedication to the Story County area. Every act of giving is personal and unique to that individual.

Whether you think of yourself as rich or poor or somewhere in between, your gift to your community can make a lasting difference. Contact us to discuss your charitable desires at 515-232-9200 or storycounty@storycountyfoundation.org.
