Nonprofit Grants and Applications

The Story County Community Foundation (SCCF) allocates resources to significantly improve or affect the lives of people living in Story County communities. SCCF offers three different competitive grant programs - our Major Grant, Community Grants, and Capacity Building Grants. Major Grant

 $10,000 - $25,000

Letter of Intent to Apply is due by 5:00 p.m. on July 31, 2023.

Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3), charitable projects of a governmental agency or to the 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor.

Community Grant

 Up to   $9,999

Grant applications are due by
5:00 p.m. on September 30, 2023.

Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3), charitable projects of a governmental agency or to the 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor.

 
Capacity Building Grant

up to $2,500

Applications are only accepted from qualified applicants.  Successful applicants must use the grant to improve their capacity to raise money for their fund held at SCCF.

Applications are accepted from January 1 to August 31, 2023.

Applications are reviewed as received. 

Qualified applicants must hold at least one fund with Story County Community Foundation and must use the capacity grant to improve organizational capacity to raise money for one or more SCCF funds.
