Heather Johnson of Octagon Center for the Arts and Becki Senti of the Story County Community Foundation Advisory Board appreciate a new display case at the Octagon.

The Octagon Center for the Arts received a $4,800 grant to help with an upgrade of display equipment and window coverings for gallery areas. The grant also provided funding to complete the installation of a new exterior sign. The main goal of the Octagon is to promote visual arts in the community. According to Heather Johnson, executive director, replacing 20 year old exhibit cases and protective window coverings will greatly enhance the quality of the display of art work and improve the visitor’s viewing experience. The exterior sign will add to the Octagon’s presence in the community and increase location awareness for the public.
